Japanese skincare uses simple and natural ingredients such as rice bran, camellia oil, seaweed and azuki beans. Skincare routines are broken down into toning, cleansing, moisturizing and other brackets for the whole body. Here are our 5 Japanese Beauty Tips.
1.Green Tea has great properties that help to improve your skin!
Green tea is clinically proven to possess a ton of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. The tannins of green tea make pores on the face smaller to help retain moisture and prevent bacteria from entering the skin and causing breakouts. So drinking Green Tea will greatly improve your skin’s condition and complexion.
2. Facial Masks are an integral part of a skincare routine!
Since we know how fantastic Green Tea is and how it helps improve the skin, why not incorporate it into your skincare routine? To make your very own Green Tea face mask, you will need 2 bags of green tea, baking soda and honey. Tear open the green tea and mix the leaves with equal parts baking soda in a small bowl. Take a teaspoon of this mixture and mix it up with some honey. Spread the mixture all over your face. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes. Follow with STEAMCREAM to moisturise and to calm the skin even more.
3. Try exfoliating with Azuki Powder!
Deep cleansing once or twice a week with an enzymatic exfoliant such as stone ground azuki bean powder will enable you to have a gentle deep cleanse without the rough feel of scrubbing. Azuki is one of the most important ingredients used in Japanese skincare. Azuki powder can be added to a teaspoon sized amount of STEAMCREAM to provide moisture whilst gently exfoliating your skin. Afterwards, rinse off the mixture and moisturise as normal with STEAMCREAM.
